What is CJC-1295 (no DAC)?
CJC-1295 without DAC (also called Mod GRF 1-29) is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It consists of 29 amino acids and has been modified for increased stability and potency compared to natural GHRH. The "no DAC" designation means it lacks the Drug Affinity Complex, resulting in shorter-acting pulsatile GH release rather than sustained elevation.
CJC-1295 vs CJC-1295 with DAC
The DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) version binds to albumin in blood, extending its half-life to 6β8 days. The "no DAC" version has a half-life of about 30 minutes, producing a GH pulse that more closely mimics natural physiology. Most research protocols prefer the no-DAC version for this reason β sustained GH elevation can cause desensitization and side effects.
How to Reconstitute
CJC-1295 is dosed in micrograms (mcg).
- 2 mg vial β 1 mL BAC water (2,000 mcg/mL)
- 5 mg vial β 2 mL BAC water (2,500 mcg/mL)
- 10 mg vial β 3 mL BAC water (3,333 mcg/mL)
Typical Research Protocols
100β300 mcg per injection, 1β2 times daily. Most commonly administered before bed on an empty stomach (fasting for at least 30 minutes before and after). Frequently combined with Ipamorelin for synergistic GH release β the CJC amplifies and prolongs the GH pulse that Ipamorelin initiates.
